Service Description

All mediums are welcome!!! Two Professional Artists teaching both dry and wet media. Plein Air Artist Patricia Sweet is proficient in Oil, Acrylic, and Watercolors while Clay Sayre, retired from 23 years of teaching HS Art, is proficient in Charcoal, Pastel, and Colored Pencil. The Struggle is Real! A workshop to take for that “Lightbulb” moment that will change the course of your painting and drawing forever! Every, and we mean EVERY artist, longstanding professionals to beginners has something they feel they just can't figure out about why their artwork isn't doing what they want it to do. Let’s get that artistic toolbox out and see if we can learn how to get it right...the way you want your art to be. This is a great workshop for everyone, regardless of medium, this workshop relies on focusing on fundamentals (composition, color theory, values), having an open mindset for experimentation, and addressing specific medium-related challenges. Please bring blank surfaces and one or a few art pieces you are working on or would like to redo in a different way. In addition, bring your reference photos if you have some. Students should bring whatever medium they would like to work on.
