OUR STORY

JAM.jpeg

375 Depot Street was built in in the early 1900s as a meat processing plant right next to the railroad. Over the years, it was a night club, a commercial photography business, and eventually artist studios.

Managers Michael Allen Campbell and Julie Bell first started renting at 375 Depot Street in late 2009 and later joined with their friend Lynn Stanley to create art in a large studio at the back of the building.

In 2015, the three friends expanded into additional studio space and welcomed other artists. They continued to expand as smaller studio spaces became available, connecting them with passage ways.

Trackside Studios continues to expand and grow, adding working studios and gallery space in the mezzanine level and working with the building owners to further open the street level studios to create a bright, expansive space for the arts.

Our mission: We welcome all to a vibrant, fun, friendly, imaginative space for creating, teaching, and marketing art.
