Service Description
This 2 day, 5 hour class will introduce you to encaustic art, give you techniques in how to apply wax for different effects and add different elements to give the work your personal flavor. We will have various tools available for you to experiment with—papers, colored wax, photos, incising tools, irons, wax pens, pan pastels, oil sticks, glue and shellac. Materials provided: tools, wax, heating elements, boards. Student provides: old shirt or apron and rubber gloves, beverage and snack Class runs from 5:30 PM until 8 PM. Bring a snack and beverage. Also bring an old shirt or apron to protect your clothing and rubber gloves if you have them.

Cancellation Policy
WAITLIST - If a class is full, you may email us at artists@tracksidestudios.com to be asked to be placed on the waitlist. CANCELLATION - If we need to cancel a course due to too few registrants, we will notify you a week before the class and offer you a choice of a full refund or to apply your registration to a future workshop. If we need to cancel for extenuating circumstances (instructor ill, weather, etc.), we will notify you as soon as we're aware and offer the same choice. If you need to cancel up to one week before the class, your registration fee will be refunded or you may opt to apply it to a future workshop. If you need to cancel 6 days or less before the class, your registration fee may be applied to a future class or donated to our hurricane relief fund to benefit our artist instructors.
