My artwork represents the melding of my Air Force brat upbringing with my love for storytelling and exploration. Born in Wiesbaden, Germany I was fortunate to grow up experiencing many lands and cultures around the world. Those travels have always influenced the way I see and interact in the world.

My teaching experience includes:

  • Inyo Council For The Arts (1996-98) - Children’s Program Director - Summer Arts in the Park; Supervised workshops for ages 8-18 in gourd painting, paper making, drawing, beading and painting.

  • Silk Painting Classes (1995-2004) - Beginning, intermediate and advanced, teens & adults. Taught history, tools, color theory and basic to advanced skill.

  • Bahamian Reef Environmental Education Foundation (2004-06, 2008-14) - Gerace Research Center, College of the Bahamas

    • Summer Sea Camp is a life-altering experience that every Bahamian child should have at least once! Sea Camp includes daily snorkeling and provides hands-on experiential learning for students, using the natural environment as a teaching tool and engages campers in protecting our oceans and its resources. Sea Camp fosters a sense of appreciation for the Bahamian marine environment, inspiring campers to become environmental stewards. Ages. 7-18, 2 weeks each summer.
