Service Description
Intermediate and experienced only. Attendees must have taken previous collage classes with Li Newton. This two day collage class with Li Newton will concentrate on building subtle layers and depth into your landscape collages. You will start by creating a semi-detailed line drawing and slowly build from vague background into detailed foreground. Learn to attain values and depth with found paper using books, magazines, maps, sheet music, etc. You will provide your own landscape reference. Please email instructor your image well before the class to gauge if it has enough depth and detail. If you do not have your own, one will be provided for you. Provided: 16 X 20 wood panel, gel medium, scissors, transfer paper and paper materials. Bring: Any additional interesting papers you may have, plus beverage and snacks.

WAITLIST - If a class is full, you may email us at artists@tracksidestudios.com to be asked to be placed on the waitlist. CANCELLATION - We reserve the right to cancel a course due to: * Too few registrants: we will notify you a week before the class and will refund your full registration. * Extenuating circumstances (instructor ill, weather, etc.): we will notify you as soon as we're aware and refund your full registration. If you are unable to attend the course: * Notify us 7 or more days before the class (email us at artists@tracksidestudios.com) for a full refund * Notify us 3-6 days before the class for a 50% refund In order to ensure our teachers are reimbursed for their preparation and the materials they purchase for each student, there is no refund for cancelations 2 or fewer days before the class or non-attendance.
