Service Description
This workshop explores the use various typography fonts and your own distinct handwriting to create images. The images are formed by combining and overlapping words; using pencils, markers and printed letters. The process of creating a "shape poem" is very cathartic! You will walk away with a finished piece of meaningful artwork. Drawing papers. Pencils. Markers. Inspirational images. Students may bring: Simple line drawing of your choice to use as reference. WAITLIST - If a class is full, you may email us at artists@tracksidestudios.com to be asked to be placed on the waitlist. CANCELLATION - We reserve the right to cancel a course due to: * Too few registrants: we will notify you a week before the class and will refund your full registration. * Extenuating circumstances (instructor ill, weather, etc.): we will notify you as soon as we're aware and refund your full registration. If you are unable to attend the course: * Notify us 7 or more days before the class (email us at artists@tracksidestudios.com) for a full refund * Notify us 3-6 days before the class for a 50% refund In order to ensure our teachers are reimbursed for their preparation and the materials they purchase for each student, there is no refund for cancelations 2 or fewer days before the class or non-attendance.
