Service Description
Step into the rich blue world of cyanotypes in this hands-on workshop exploring one photography’s oldest techniques. Jenny will guide you in foraging for plants and flowers outdoors and using your botanical finds to beautiful, one-of-a-kind compositions. You’ll learn how to transform leaves, flowers, and other natural elements into stunning blue-and-white prints—perfect for framing, displaying, or turning into unique handmade greeting cards. In this workshop, you’ll learn: ● How to coat your paper with the cyanotype solution ● How to select and arrange botanicals to create strong compositions ● How to expose your artwork in the sun and reveal the finished cyanotype All materials provided. No previous art or photography experience is necessary. Whether you’re completely new to cyanotypes or have experimented with the process before, you’ll leave with a collection of original botanical prints and a new appreciation for the creative possibilities found in nature. Jenny has a Plan B in case there is bad weather. Come explore, create, and discover the magic of making photographs with sunlight!

WAITLIST - If a class is full, you may email us at artists@tracksidestudios.com to be asked to be placed on the waitlist. CANCELLATION - We reserve the right to cancel a course due to: * Too few registrants: we will notify you a week before the class and will refund your full registration. * Extenuating circumstances (instructor ill, weather, etc.): we will notify you as soon as we're aware and refund your full registration. If you are unable to attend the course: * Notify us 7 or more days before the class (email us at artists@tracksidestudios.com) for a full refund * Notify us 3-6 days before the class for a 50% refund In order to ensure our teachers are reimbursed for their preparation and the materials they purchase for each student, there is no refund for cancelations 2 or fewer days before the class or non-attendance.
