Service Description
This is a beginner class for those interested in finding out what encaustic is and how to create an original art piece using hot wax. We will learn tools and techniques as well as how to apply wax and incorporate other materials like paper, fabric and plant material in the work. Whether your interest is in abstract, landscape, or still life, you can find a way to create a piece using encaustic. Please bring an old shirt or apron (or wear old clothes). All encaustic supplies will be provided.

Cancellation Policy
WAITLIST - If a class is full, you may email us at artists@tracksidestudios.com to be asked to be placed on the waitlist. CANCELLATION - We reserve the right to cancel a course due to: * Too few registrants: we will notify you a week before the class and will refund your full registration. * Extenuating circumstances (instructor ill, weather, etc.): we will notify you as soon as we're aware and refund your full registration. If you are unable to attend the course: * Notify us 7 or more days before the class (email us at artists@tracksidestudios.com) for a full refund * Notify us 3-6 days before the class for a 50% refund In order to ensure our teachers are reimbursed for their preparation and the materials they purchase for each student, there is no refund for cancelations 2 or fewer days before the class or non-attendance.
