Over the summer I picked up a new hobby- beaded plants...What are beaded plants you say? Well they're exactly what they sound like- plants, made out of beads! You'll be provided with thousands of small beads in a range of sizes and colors...seed beads, crystal beads, floral beads, leaf beads. String them on wires to make flowers and vines, then secure them to your planter. Make as many as you'd like, until your planter is overflowing with vines! Hang them in a window, and they'll cast sparkles of light all over your room when the sun hits them. Students should provide: A planter! I highly encourage students to bring their own planter. It can be something meaningful, funny, or just cute! Think cups, bowls, mugs, teapots. Whatever you bring should be opaque, and have an opening of no more than 4". You're also welcome to bring multiple smaller planters if you'd like. I will also have a small selection of thrifted planters available for purchase. There are so many things I love about this craft, but I think my favorite is finding planters. It's a great use for our beloved ceramics which are damaged, but we don't want to part with. Bring it with you, and turn it into a beaded plant! Finding planters is also a great thrift store activity. I highly encourage you get creative with your planters! I've made beaded plants in teapots, seashells, mugs and more! If you can stick a foam ball in it, you can turn it into a beaded plant!

WAITLIST - If a class is full, you may email us at artists@tracksidestudios.com to be asked to be placed on the waitlist. CANCELLATION - We reserve the right to cancel a course due to: * Too few registrants: we will notify you a week before the class and will refund your full registration. * Extenuating circumstances (instructor ill, weather, etc.): we will notify you as soon as we're aware and refund your full registration. If you are unable to attend the course: * Notify us 7 or more days before the class (email us at artists@tracksidestudios.com) for a full refund * Notify us 3-6 days before the class for a 50% refund In order to ensure our teachers are reimbursed for their preparation and the materials they purchase for each student, there is no refund for cancelations 2 or fewer days before the class or non-attendance.
