Lisa is an illustrator, painter, and mixed media artist. Her work is often inspired by her textile design background and interior design experience. She has explored various art forms her whole life. Her work spans from realism to abstract, depending on the art form that she wants to delve into. In recent years, Lisa has been incorporating wire in her mixed media pieces. She loves living in Western Carolina among so many talented artists.
If you have taken any of Lisa's classes, you know that she loves getting people involved in the creative process. She is encouraging and enthusiastic about sharing the benefits of art making. Lisa has taught creative workshops of all kinds for many years to people from all walks of life. She was awarded Art Instructor of the Year 2023 at AB Tech. And she is a Best of NC 2026 regional winner in the art instruction category. Teaching and creating art are essential for Lisa.
