Encaustic Monoprints

Service Description

Class: 1-4pm Participants will learn the basics of working with encaustics, beginning with creating a monoprint using hot wax. These will then be mounted on panel and further worked to form an encaustic piece. Materials (wax, mat, raised boards) will be provided. Participants many want to bring a old shirt or apron. Class open to adults & teens. Registration: $110 (includes materials) The class will be held if there are at least 2 students. Invite a friend -- You earn a $10 credit for Trackside Studios for each student you invite who registers and attends. (If there are fewer than 2 students a week before the class, you will be notified of the class being canceled.)
